Further design work with the exhibition design involved a visit to Lancashire Conservation studios. It’s important to realise physical aspect to the whole idea of what the exhibition could mean, how looks is as important as it feels and what it says. It was important in this instance to place model of Skelmersdale New Town onto a prototype surface, that immediate contact told us there if it was to work or not almost instantly. This response was shared between us all: Ulan MA Architecture students, Architects, Artists and the Conservators at the Studios.
